Sometimes you just have to use the KISS philosophy (Keep It Simple, Stupid) and this time I just had to let the patterned paper shine. This patterned paper from Chatterbox (thus far safe in my scrapbooking supply for 3 years...) is just so lovely I just couldn't hide it away.

The inside of the card is kept just as simple as the outside.

Materials used:
Paper: Bazill White and Raven, Chatterbox
Stamps: Autumn Leaves Flourishes, North Star Stamps
Embellishments: Ribbon, tuille, EK success border punch, corner rounder

I've recently made quite a few of these book cards (Thanks to a course given by Wenche). The recipe for the book was given in metric units, but I've converted it to inches (so much easier to use the Martha Stewart scoring board). I do love this books, they are both a card and a gift all together.

Materials:
Paper: Bazzill White, SEI Black Orchid
Ink: Distress Ink Tea Dye, Archival Jet black

Stamps: Stempelglede, Autumn Leaves
Embellishments: American Crafts ribbon, Tattered Angel Framed Fonts and Glimmer Mist
Tools: Martha Stewart scoreboard, Spellbinders cog wheel dies and Wizard cutting tool
Thanks for looking :D

(#79-86 and bonus card)

It's about time this blog was updated again, I've been a bit lazy with updating the blog (NOT lazy making cards - I finished 40 christmas cards om Monday...), so here are a few of the ones I made. Sorry for the poor photoquality, but I had to take the pictures in a rush (exuses...).

Since it's been a week since the last update I included a bonus card as well. maybe that'll outweight leaving out descriptions. (Just ask in a comment if there's anything you're curious about).

Oh, and by the way: I finally got the tattoo started :D

(#76,77 and 78)

Dear reader of this blog, I sincerely appologise for not posting the last couple of days - there was a tiny matter with "one album in one night"-class I had to prepare and hold keeping me away from the keyboard. Anyway, here are the cards for Monday, yesterday and today. They are all Christmas cards made with papers from Tinkering Ink (from last year). As you might see from the cards I went a little bananas with my borderpunches and the scalloped cuttingblade for my Fiskars trimmer (me likes it, big time).

As to what I'll show tomorrow: Que sera, sera (whatever will be, will be, the future's not ours to see).

(#75)

It's about time for a Pyramid card, me thinks. This one is made of 2 sheets of Basic Gray Paper and some satin ribbon, that's all.

C U tomorrow, then is Christmastime again

(#74)

Todays card was supposed to be inspired by the rainbow connection, but... I'm not exactly happy with it. It was a quick one since i had to go to a party tonight :o)

Have a nice day all.

(Card 73 - Rainbow connection)

Recently I deiscovered Sarah McLachlans version of the Muppets classic song Rainbow Connection, and so I was inspired by it to make a rainbow card. Or that was the plan and then I realised that I had used the papers that was required (some from October Afternoon). Now the papers used are from OA but from a different line. So the Rainbow connection card isn't quite done yet, me thinks.

Supplies:
CS: Bazzill
PP: October Afternoon
Punch: Whale of a punch
Other: Tattered angels Shimmer Mist

Thanks for looking.

PS Look out for an upcoming "Rainbow Connection" card...

(Shees baack)

Yepp, I'm back, not from the dead but from a long break from cardmaking. The creativity just hasn't been at it's peak lately, so I gave myself a break from the 365-cards challenge. But now I'm back! I've had the chance to crop with some of my best friends as well as been to Papirfest, that was such a vitamin-shot :) At Papirfest I attended 2 classes with My Little Yellow Bicycle (Hi, Sharon Ann and Jynene!) and 2 with Malin - it was simply GREAT!

Sooo over to the card, number 71, since it's not that long until Christmas it's about time to start the assemblyline for Christmas cards, here's my first this year.

Card
Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned paper: Basic Grey
Stamps: Stempelglede, hÄnglar&stÄnglar
Colour: Distress Ink
Ink: StazOn

Thanks for looking - it's good to be back

Baaaad blogger

Man, I've been a bad blogger lately, and a bad cardmaker as well, so far September has been a bad month for my 1-card-a-day-for-a-year-scheme, so I suppose instead of giving totally up, it's time to set some good targets for October and just decide I'll make up for September.

Here's 7 new cards, so though I'm not caught up yet (or rather, I can't show the other cards I've made lately quite yet). But here's cards for 17-23 September, cards 64-70:

If there's anything you're curious about, just ask. Thanks for looking :D

(Card 54-63)

I've been a bad blogger, and bad cardmaker lately and I think it's beacause of a combination of a new job and a bad cold (I hate being sick, it's so inconvenient). Well, I've made some cards the last few days to make up for the missed ones. Sooo here are 10 cards, numer 54 to 63, to cover the days 7.-16. september

I'll be back tomorrow with some new cards, making sure I'm caught up.

Thanks for looking

(Card 53)

Another one of the graphic 45 cards... I promise I'll show you something different on Sunday. And yes, that means I won't be showing off a card tomorrow, that's because I'll be at the stand of Scrappejungelen at stempelscrapmessa and in the evening we'll be celebrating Xstines birthday (with cupcakes)

51: Bazzill, Graphic 45 papers and vintage buttons

52: Bazzill, Making Memories papers, Papirloftet stamp

And this weekend there's the Stempelscrapmesse at fredheim, I'm soooo looking forward to that.
