New projects - April

It's been a while since I last updated the blog with some creative projects, so it's about time to show some again I think.

Here's a card fit for a friend, in lovely orange and grey.

A couple of simple cards with butterflies for birthdays or confirmation.
 Another orange card.

A relatively simple card for confirmation (it includes a pocket for a tag and some money).
This lay out was made at Papirfest (that I attended 2 weeks ago), it was made for a competition that I was so fortunate to win :D

I've recently made no less than 7 Easter eggs and here are 2 of them, decorated with Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glam, Prima flowers, roses from Kort og Godt, lace and butterflies made with a Martha Stewart punch. By the way, these two were made for the Sukkersøtt challenge this week.

A relatively clean and simple birthday card, made for the "That's so cute challenge" for birthdays.

Minneriket Grand Prix!

There was this great team contest at Minneriket in April inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest. I was fortunate enough to be on the Israeli team and though we ended up in the penultimate spot it was great fun to scrapbook all these layouts and solve the challenges they threw at us. Kathrine, Ann-Katrin and Annm it was such great fun to be on our team. Since I haven't blogged in a while, I decided to show all the LOs in one go and here they are:
California dreamin', inspired by Tor Endresens zero points getting song San Francisco: it's basically about wanting to go to California and San Francisco some day (none of the pictures are taken by me).
Materials: White Bazzill, Patterned paper by 3ndy Paper, Martha Stewart punches, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Red Velvet I think) + QuicKutz Star Alphabet

17. mai - inspired by last years winning song, Fairytale by Alexander Rybak. i was inspired by the dancers and the folkmusic. The picture is of me one 17. May a "few" years ago, taken at the local museum in my hometown.
Materials used: White smooth Bazzill, Stamp from Stampers Anonymus by Tim Holtz, Glimmer Mist (colours Mimosa, Perfect Peach and Tattered Leather), chipboard from Tattered Angels, Prima flower, letters from Jillibean Soup and AdornIt and page from an old book.
Optimist - LO inspired by the song Optimist by Jahn Teigen, about my mum, the optimist, I've inherited that from her.
Materials used: white Bazzill, blue glimmer mist, masks from Heidi Swapp, Thickers from American Crafts, Fiskars cirkle punch, black marker. Scetch by Gyda.

Oppgave 6 - Viva la Diva, the challenge was to take the song the team chose to be our song/anthem and scrap the same phrase from the song, and we chose Diva by Dana International. Of course it had to be a "ego"-LO.
Materials used: Bazzill Kraft, Graphic 45 patterened paper, letters from Jillybean Soup, brad by Pink Paisley, Red velvet Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels, glitter glue

Hårfin - LO with picture taken in the 80ies. Picture of me taken in 1988, it's been in my stash waiting to be scrapped...
Materials: White and purple  Bazzill, Maja Design PP, Martha Stewart punches, Prima flowers, ribbon, old lace (thanks Mari!), purple bling by Kaiser Craft, chipboard frame and gimmer mist by Tattered Angels (Lime Twist, Popsicle and Fully Purple)

Fashion - inspired by the text of my favourite ESC song, France 1991 "C'est le dernier qui a parlé qui a raison". Page about my slight obsession with purses and shoes.
Materials: Bazzill kraft and white, Hambly overlay, white lace coloured with tattered leather Glimmer Mist, Thickers by American Crafts, Prima bling

Slowly slipping away - the challenge was to scrap using the colours for the team nations flag, and since the Israeli flag is blue and white that's the colours I've used. The Lo is about my father who was diagnosed with vascular dementia about half a year ago.
Materials: White and dark blue Bazzill, blue gingham PP, lace, butterflies from Jenni Bowlin, alphabet by Close to my heart

Thanks for looking, any and all comments are very welcome!

Oppdatering 2

(Endelig oppdatering)

Takk for titten :D

I won one of the CHA give-aways on SEIs blog and it was pure bliss working with the products, I can't wait until they are in the local scrapstores, I desperately need more of them.

(Easter LOs)

I had friends over for some cropping yesterday, and though it was one of my less productive evenings, I finished 2 LOs and one card. Here are the LOs:
My daddy in a pensive moment. It was a bit important to include the clock in the background of the picture as it's the one my paternal grandparents had, I've god so many nice memories of it and of listening to the chiming of the bells at night.
Products:
Paper: Graphic 45 and Bazzill
Letters: Jillibean soup
Embellishments: Prima (flowers), Bazzill (brads), Heidi Swapp (invisibles chipboard label), vintage bookpage
Ink: Distress Ink (Vintage Photo), Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Tattered Leather)
These pictures just begged to be scrapped, as they are totally speaking for themselves. The model in the picture is my niece Mari and what a beautiful model she is lying there reading advertisments ;)
Products:
Paper: Bazzill, American Crafts, Coredinations cardstock
Letters: AdornIt, Jillybean soup
Punch: Martha Stewart
Embellishments: Tattered Angels (embossed chipboard), unknown (flowers and lace9)
Ink: Distress Ink (Walnut stain), Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Tattered Leather and Sweet Pea).

Thanks for looking!

(Scrappytime 2)

Here's the rest of the LOs I've made Thursday and Friday.

My niece is contemplating eating a little cake by the looks of it.

Punch: Martha Stewart, Marvy Uchida
Ink: Distress ink (Fired brick), Tattered Angels (glimmermist colours tattered leather and mimosa)

I took this psycho-selfportrait, and I just had to make a weirdo LO out of it, I look totally "Insane in the membrane". And since I've totally fallen in love with the new Heidi Swapp products (invisibles.... drool), it was obvious that they had to be used for the LO.

Products:
Paper, letters, chipboard label: Heidi Swapp Invisibles
Tiny letters: Carolees Creations
Ink: Distress ink (peeled paint and spiced marmalade), Tattered angels glimmer mist (mimosa and a green one)

My nephew has a lifelong love of meat/vegetable soup (betasuppe), so that had to be documented, no?

Products:
Paper: Bazzill kraft, Papirdesign, aquarell paper
Embellishments: Heidi swapp (label), AdornIt (letters), staples, lace, decorative pin (Gyda)
Ink: Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (tattered leather and pearl)

Another lovely picture of my youngest niece (from 1996).
MME papers, American Crafts thickers, Daisy D bookplate, fluid chalk, glimmer mist (pearl).
My oh my it's fun to scrap pictures of myself... And the products used are:
October Afternoon, Prima, K&co, Adorn It, Inkadinkadoo and tattered Angels (glimmer mist)
Thanks for looking :D
