(Card 5 - Jul i juli)

So now we're on day 5 and this time it's a christmas card (Jul i Juli). Papers and brads from SEI, stamp from StempelGlede, cardstock from Bazzill. :D
By the way, as Salte pointed out yesterday, we've passed the leapdate, so I just had to change the name of the challenge to 365-cards.

(Day 4 - Card 4)

So far so good, here's the fourth card of my own challenge :) this time it's a card made of scraps of paper. Sometimes it's just soooo many scraps that I just have to use them for a card. In addition to the scraps I've used Glimmer Mist, a punch and a stamp from Papirloftet. Thanks for looking. And by the way, I'd be thrilled to get comments (for every comment on my blog I'll give you at least one back).

(Day 3 - Card 3)

Wow, so far so good. Here's the card for day 3, it took a little longer to make since I hand stitched around the two panels. There were some leftover paper scraps after an LO I made the other day, and they just had to be used for this card (I adore October Afternoon Papers, and Prima Bling).

The products I've used:
-Bazzill Kraft cardstock
- October Afternoon Patterened Paper
- Prima Say it in Crystals bling
- Making Memories brads and flowers
- Embroidery floss

Thanks for looking :)

(Card 2)

Even though I post this card when we've already reached 17th July, here's the card for 16th, made at a crop at May Lis' house with the wonderful Xstine, Mari, May Lis and Ida present. I was in a cardmaking mood, so I made 20 cards. Products used are: Bazzill cardstock, SEI papers, Prima bling. Thanks for looking. Till next time, ta!

(Card number 1)

So, day one of the one card per day challenge and here is the very first card.

This one came about when I decided to play with some of my Tim Holtz fragments and some of the new SEI papers (Black Orchid).

(Ambitions!)

I recently got the IDEA, that is that I am going to create (and show) one card every day of one year. And since 2008 is a leap year that means 366 cards (hey, that's going to be the name of this thing). It might have been nice to start this the first of the month or perhaps on my birthday or something, but knowing myself... if I postpone it to some "milestone" like that, it's just not going to happen. So that's why I start with the announcement today. The card below is card 0, because I made it on Friday and thus it does not count... However, such an announcement can not be done without a picture of a card (that would just be silly).

Stay Tuned

(Clear album from CKU - Little Yellow Bicycle)

I recently went to CKU in Houston (Hi - Lorrie!) and amongst the many classes I took there, one og my favourites were the clear album that Sharon Ann and another nice woman taught (sorry I forgot your name, my bad). So after I came home I've finished the album with pictures of my family. So here are some pictures of that nice album:

(Queen for a day)

A whila ago Mari and Xstine challenged me to use the transparent tag with the quote and the chipboard crown on a layout, I finally got around to making it and here it is:

Not really sure if I like it or not, it'll just have to grow on me or I'll have to find a way to change it for the better. Anyway I really like this picture (taken by my good friend Kirsten in Houston).

Countdown to CKU: 3 days left!

(Thank you)

In a matter of days I'm going to Houston with some friends of mine to attend CKU (and shop of course). To show my appreciation and gratitude to the teachers and sponsors I've made some cards to say thank you. Here are some examples of what I'm bringing with me :D

You don't always have to make a fancy invitation, sometimes something as simple as this can be just as efficient :)

(Updated, finally)

I've recently been a baaaad blogger and not updated. It's not that I haven't scrapped, because I have, I've just been lazy showing it of. Lets just hope that I'll do better now.

The first LO here is one where I've tried to copy Xstines style (she's got such cool LOs), not really sure I've managed to channel her. BTW, Thanks Hanna for the monkey button.

The second LO is with some nice stash I got in a Bad Girls kit. One of my alltime favourite books is "Le petit prince" by Antoine de Sainte-ÉxuperyThen there's one with some old pictures from the seventies - my uncle and aunt visiting :)

The last one is of my niece having the opportunity (and permission) to eat cake straight from the cake-plate.

Thanks for looking :)

(Bad blogger)
