Hamblycards

I recently played with some paper and overlays from Hambly Screenprints. And as you all might have an inkling of: I adore cupcakes, I think they are brilliant and so tend to bake them when there's a need for something sweet (or like the case was the day I made these cards: a good friend came over for some scrapbooking and a lot of chatting). The papers and overlays are from the cupcake line, and I've accessorised with bling+flowers+letters from Prima, stamps from Unity stamps, cardstock from Bazzill, some dies from Spellbinders and some office supplies.

Minneriket Grand Prix!

There was this great team contest at Minneriket in April inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest. I was fortunate enough to be on the Israeli team and though we ended up in the penultimate spot it was great fun to scrapbook all these layouts and solve the challenges they threw at us. Kathrine, Ann-Katrin and Annm it was such great fun to be on our team. Since I haven't blogged in a while, I decided to show all the LOs in one go and here they are:
California dreamin', inspired by Tor Endresens zero points getting song San Francisco: it's basically about wanting to go to California and San Francisco some day (none of the pictures are taken by me).
Materials: White Bazzill, Patterned paper by 3ndy Paper, Martha Stewart punches, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Red Velvet I think) + QuicKutz Star Alphabet

17. mai - inspired by last years winning song, Fairytale by Alexander Rybak. i was inspired by the dancers and the folkmusic. The picture is of me one 17. May a "few" years ago, taken at the local museum in my hometown.
Materials used: White smooth Bazzill, Stamp from Stampers Anonymus by Tim Holtz, Glimmer Mist (colours Mimosa, Perfect Peach and Tattered Leather), chipboard from Tattered Angels, Prima flower, letters from Jillibean Soup and AdornIt and page from an old book.
Optimist - LO inspired by the song Optimist by Jahn Teigen, about my mum, the optimist, I've inherited that from her.
Materials used: white Bazzill, blue glimmer mist, masks from Heidi Swapp, Thickers from American Crafts, Fiskars cirkle punch, black marker. Scetch by Gyda.

Oppgave 6 - Viva la Diva, the challenge was to take the song the team chose to be our song/anthem and scrap the same phrase from the song, and we chose Diva by Dana International. Of course it had to be a "ego"-LO.
Materials used: Bazzill Kraft, Graphic 45 patterened paper, letters from Jillybean Soup, brad by Pink Paisley, Red velvet Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels, glitter glue

Hårfin - LO with picture taken in the 80ies. Picture of me taken in 1988, it's been in my stash waiting to be scrapped...
Materials: White and purple  Bazzill, Maja Design PP, Martha Stewart punches, Prima flowers, ribbon, old lace (thanks Mari!), purple bling by Kaiser Craft, chipboard frame and gimmer mist by Tattered Angels (Lime Twist, Popsicle and Fully Purple)

Fashion - inspired by the text of my favourite ESC song, France 1991 "C'est le dernier qui a parlé qui a raison". Page about my slight obsession with purses and shoes.
Materials: Bazzill kraft and white, Hambly overlay, white lace coloured with tattered leather Glimmer Mist, Thickers by American Crafts, Prima bling

Slowly slipping away - the challenge was to scrap using the colours for the team nations flag, and since the Israeli flag is blue and white that's the colours I've used. The Lo is about my father who was diagnosed with vascular dementia about half a year ago.
Materials: White and dark blue Bazzill, blue gingham PP, lace, butterflies from Jenni Bowlin, alphabet by Close to my heart

Thanks for looking, any and all comments are very welcome!
