Sometimes you just have to use the KISS philosophy (Keep It Simple, Stupid) and this time I just had to let the patterned paper shine. This patterned paper from Chatterbox (thus far safe in my scrapbooking supply for 3 years...) is just so lovely I just couldn't hide it away.
The inside of the card is kept just as simple as the outside.
Materials used:
Paper: Bazill White and Raven, Chatterbox
Stamps: Autumn Leaves Flourishes, North Star Stamps
Embellishments: Ribbon, tuille, EK success border punch, corner rounder
I've recently made quite a few of these book cards (Thanks to a course given by Wenche). The recipe for the book was given in metric units, but I've converted it to inches (so much easier to use the Martha Stewart scoring board). I do love this books, they are both a card and a gift all together.
Materials:
Paper: Bazzill White, SEI Black Orchid
Ink: Distress Ink Tea Dye, Archival Jet black
Stamps: Stempelglede, Autumn Leaves
Embellishments: American Crafts ribbon, Tattered Angel Framed Fonts and Glimmer Mist
Tools: Martha Stewart scoreboard, Spellbinders cog wheel dies and Wizard cutting tool
Thanks for looking :D
